An easy way to avoid anything like the French Revolution … or any kind of revolution … is to just feed people.

You can do whatever you want, abuse people, jail people, arrest people, even start a war, build concentration camps and for the most part people will go along with it all, as long as you keep them fed. You don’t even have to feed them much … just keep them fed enough to keep them from rioting and revolting.

But even when you look back on that data and information, the majority of it was skewed and manipulated to conform to and confirm a very specific set of values, politics and beliefs … much of whom didn’t have the best interests of people but rather in coddling corporate interests, the economy, money and power.

The US government shouldn’t be relied on for credible or reliable information.

They can’t be relied on for anything.

This is what America wanted … to hurt the people they don’t like.

It also never seemed to matter if the predictions worked, were accurate or even came to be … it was just another farmer thing … a farmer thing to talk about it. Everyone I knew who read it or referenced it, either swore by it or said it was no good … and those same people would turn around and say the opposite the next time.

The best part of it all was just that it was there and always there.

That’s a bit sad … I used to pick up a copy every second year whenever I remembered it. It was always one of those things that was just always there and something that you thought would be around forever … at least during your own lifetime.

I remember my old neighbours talking about it, referencing it and reading it. I remember old farmers swearing by it. I remember old time hunters and trappers using it as a guide for weather … whether it worked for anyone or not, it was a mainstay that a lot of old time folks enjoyed.

It feels like the passing of another thing from our past.

Boomer logic … they have life so good that they honestly believe that everyone else of every generation should be like them. They have no clue or little understanding that times have changed and people are living with little or not enough but they just don’t care.

I used to get those when I was a kid in the 80s. There was always two or three people that would make them and give them out … definitely a Halloween treat that is lost to people today.

Haven’t seen or tried them in years.

Not officially banned … just a whole bunch of stuff from the 80s and 90s where everyone freaked out and thought strangers were putting razor blades, hyperdermic needles and metal scraps in food to poison kids … none of it was true (it might have happened in a few instances but not widely)

Since then, its recommended everywhere not to accept homemade treats unless you trust the people you get them from.

You are right … it isn’t banned … it’s just not recommended.

Parents walking Halloween with their kids will refuse receiving anything that is custom packaged or homemade … most if not all parents will only accept store bought official ‘halloween’ candies and chocolates.

America isn’t devolving to becoming racists because of some dumb politician … America is devolving because everyone is just standing around doing nothing about it all.

That’s the other loss over the years. You can’t hand out your own home-packaged or custom packaged candy.

Years ago, I used to see several people in the neighbourhood who handed out little packettes of their own candies. I was starting to think of doing the same thing but never had the chance. You buy candy in bulk, then just package it all into small portions to hand out. Some people would also throw in an apple, orange, muffins, little cakes, or their own home made candies or cookies. All that is banned now and parents won’t accept them when they bring their kids to the door. All candies have to be commercial grade store bought ‘Halloween’ candies. Anything else is treated like poison … parents freak out that strangers might put razor blades in custom packaged candy … but no one ever thinks that a factory can leave metal parts inside a tiny candy.

I bought a bunch of Halloween candy like I do every year to get ready for the holiday. And like I do every year like an idiot, I start eating this junk.

The biggest thing I’ve noticed this year is just how sugary sweet all the chocolate candies are.

It doesn’t matter if it’s KitKat, Twix, coffee crisp, aero or mars … they almost all taste the same amount of sugar sweetness and hardly any chocolate flavor.

Videos from years ago? … what’s the matter with these idiots? … if you use old videos, eventually you will have someone who will point it out and notice that it is old video.

This is the age of digital fakes and these nutjobs have tech bro psychos in their corner … they have more than enough resources to just manufacture all the shit they want and pass it off as real.

It’s the same thing that happened in 1930s Germany. An authoritarian government steps in, the people think it won’t be that bad, they allow it, they support it, they put up with it, they think government checks and balances still work … then when its all too late, people suddenly want to act.

If Americans don’t know what to do right now … they won’t have a chance to do anything later.

Always … liberals / democrats manage economy to balance budgets but no one sees the results because economic effects take time

By the time time effects are felt, conservatives / republicans come into power and everyone associates the economy to them … conservatives / republicans than gut the economy and give money to wealthy owners which degrades the economy

Public get tired of bad economy, support liberals / democrats to do something about the economy

He says dumb things, America doesn’t take it seriously, he acts on whatever dumb thing he says, America shrugs their shoulders, he goes on to say even dumber things.

Trump is only half the problem in all this.

I always love how they are such devout followers of their religion and beliefs that they have to hide their identity.

If you are really devout and honest about your beliefs and you want to add legitimacy and emphasis on the things you believe … and you honestly believe that the things you believe are shared be others and that your beliefs are moral and just … you’d never be afraid to show your face and identity.

To hide your identity is showing how weak you are to your opponents
