Texas Governor’s Office Says Its Emails With Elon Musk May Be, in Part, Too “Embarrassing” to Release to the Public
www.propublica.org
external-link
We asked Abbott for his and his staff’s emails with Elon Musk and Musk’s companies. The governor’s office won’t turn them over, saying some contain “intimate and embarrassing” information that is “not of legitimate concern to the public.”

    Because he doesn’t have to.

No one in Texas is going to hold him accountable and the people who care can’t vote him out.

    embarrassing

That’s an odd way to spell “incriminating.”

Musk kept telling Abbott how he could have his SpaceX engineers create a new wheelchair for him that could be reused after an orbital launch.

Or maybe it was more like a robotaxi wheelchair that violates traffic laws and drives automatically into oncoming traffic.

Probably many incriminating emails. I would be particularly interested to know if there’s anything about Elon trying to drill for natural gas in Texas circa 2021. Anything to do with the Boring Company really

    https://worldoil.com/news/2021/1/25/elon-musk-s-gas-drilling-plans-in-texas-meet-legal-resistance/

Or if Abbot pulled some strings to provide Elon’s lithium battery plant with water during a drought

    https://www.miningweekly.com/article/musks-massive-tesla-lithium-plant-hunts-for-water-in-drought-hit-texas-2025-01-08

Really I’m sure sky’s the limit in terms of what kind of shady shit you could find when you start draining the swamp.

Guess Abbott won’t release it because it contains:

Elon: I put on my robe and wizard hat!
