The “Land of the Free” just so happens to have the largest prison population on Earth, most of which are African Americans. And it also just so happens that the 13th Amendment that “outlawed” slavery doesnt apply to people who are incarcerated. What a coincidence.
Slavery used to be part of Americas “customs and norms” too, if that was still around would you be demanding people respect it?
