We can. They are failling to do what I first mentioned.
European guy, weird by default.
You dislike what I say, great. Makes the world a more interesting of a place. But try to disagree with me beyond a downvote. Argue your point. Let’s see if we can reach a consensus between our positions.

We can. They are failling to do what I first mentioned.

You’re completely missing the point.

The most effective way to dismantle criminal organizations of any nature is not by guns and bullets but by eliminating their markets.
People resort to drugs out of despair and disinformation. They either want an escape of reality or they want to “have fun” and they disregard or ignore the trap drugs represent.
Give to people security and a good life, inform and educate them, create safety nets for them to crash when things go wrong and 90% of drug trafficking and related crime just disappears. The other 10% you keep at bay by having good, humane, well trained police, on which the population can trust and rely.
Going for an all out war on cartels is a nighmare waiting to happen, at your door.

So, if good sense fails me not: japanese goods imported into the US will have a 15% markup at border…
Right.
What makes me morbidly curious is what Japan waved in return of that “agreement”.
I’d more quickly turn my back on them and let them levy whatever tariffs on my nation’s goods they see fit and enter “negotiations”. Yes, it would be painful in the short term for my country but it would be worth it.

So, essentially, the guys visited an escort and got the rug pulled under their feet.
Could be worse. A lot, lot, worse.
Celibacy makes no sense.

Brazil is an independent country. The guy is a bit over the horizon on this.

My wallet as no place in this conversation. It is just a battered piece a leather that is currently struggling to hold two bank cards, some coins and a few receipts. And my identification cards.
Fight with your vote. Support smaller parties. Be politically active. Demand change.

You have my support!

Throw that guy into the sea. Tell him to swim back. Maybe the swim readjusts his attitude. Those guys are bad PR for us.

How are those guys? Friendly and caring folks? Or someone you should keep a distance from?

Only with more mustaches.

Water under the bridge. We just roam and spread everywhere.

It’s small for others. We are everywhere.

That makes two, then.

You’re thinking of Taiwan?

I’m in Portugal. I’ve seen direct insults exchanged between representatives, a clear violation of manners and language, and the representative was not removed from the chamber. Their word was removed, a sanction issued, but that was it. We have representatives with active criminal charges in place that were not removed.

This sort of thing always strikes me as odd.
There are agreed rules on language, some parliaments have dress code but besides penalties or fines a representative can be served with under no situation a representative can be barred from exercisizing their dutifully elected functions.
I have representatives in my national assembly with criminal charges that none the less exercise as they have been elected.
This is plainly stupid and abusive.

I live in an area where fires are frequent and aerial cables plentiful.
Once in a while, a crew comes around and picks up all the broken cable. But considering these are mostly glass, non insulated cables, I’d risk it just becomes another inert part of the soil.
Hopefully, there will be a retrieval plan, after all the madness ends.
That’s Easter. But since you mention it, there was a time when coal was to be given to the bad kids, which by default were all the non-white and not poor kids.
Bigoted enough for you? I grew up still listening echos of that shit.
The gross majority I am fairly confident they are.
But if you think recreational drugs are fine, campaign for them to be legalized, just like tobbacco, alcohol and guns. And pot. Those have been legalized. Less trouble when something is properly regulated.
