Everybody thought the wall coming down was the end but Russia has had a hell of a comeback with their Brexit-Trump 1-2 punch to Democracy. They might’ve overreached in Ukraine but even our best efforts haven’t stopped Donald from helping Russia.
Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. This administration is a struggle between evil and stupidity and sometimes both win.
Won’t someone think of the children?! They aren’t going to molest themselves.

I pretty much used to vacation in Vegas exclusively but with resort fees the value isn’t there. I priced airfare and a week of hotels in NY vs Tokyo and Tokyo is much cheaper. I’ve gotten too used to easy access to cannabis so that and communication in English are my priorities for my next trip; I’m targeting Vancouver.
But he just said no fatties, weirdos, or wimps.
I voted blue and donated to contested races as much as I could afford. I am too lazy/socially anxious to canvass or do anything active like that. In my bubble, there was plenty of Kamala hype and even though I didn’t believe it, all I could do was ask anonymous online strangers to vote and hope enough of them voted my way. I shouldn’t have been surprised at the power of racism and sexism in the country but it was still a shock to the system. In my circles supporting him was utterly unthinkable so I have no explanation on how it happened.
I work at a call center and I wear a mask when I’m in office and haven’t missed a flu or COVID shot yet. I’ve never had COVID and haven’t been sick since at least 2019.
The Dolly Parton youtube rabbit hole is deep and satisfying. Every death before his is tragic, but this is worst than most. Of all the songs that will be sung that day I would’ve loved to have heard hers.
