14·3 days agoIf someone votes based on their values, they are unlikely to remain in the MAGA cult since Trump flip flops constantly. The low propensity voters that enjoy the vibes of making libs cry seem to make up the base.

31·3 days agoWhen I first read this, I felt, “yeah, fuck those guys” But thinking more about it, the elite Russians with actual power already have residency or citizenship in EU. Spies can enter EU without the tourist visa. This might end up just impacting the anti-Z Russians.

News@lemmy.world•Beluga whale rescued from closed Canadian marine park dies in US
9·24 days agoI recall reading this story months ago. The Canadian government and Marine land have been trying to find a solution for the last whales in Canada.
Marine Land claims it is running out of funds to feed the whales, let alone provide a suitable home for them. Some Canadians were against euthanizing the whales.
A wild sanctuary was discussed, but one is still not established, and has many unknowns whether it would be successful.
The whales couldn’t be sent to certain countries where they would be forced to procreate, and preform for entertainment.
There are always stresses and risks to whales during transit. These whales seem to be handling it not well.

Imagine if a Democrat administration had this scandal. Imagine Biden hiring this woman.
