I have no proof, this is anecdotal, but I suspect they used a forensic analysis tool like Cellebrite, GreyKey, or Magnet Axiom to extract all the device data and search it, which makes it a cakewalk to filter for keywords, images, files, and the like. cops use this shit all the time, as do their terrorist friends all around the world.

it’s the most insane thing that I’ve been on the flip side of this rhetoric coming from that part of the political spectrum as well. when I told my brother I was transitioning (MtF), he freaked out and said I was going to lose muscle mass and all my strength. of course that’s part of what estrogen does, and is kinda the point, but I find it silly that they admit it and simultaneously refuse to admit it.

i am in cybersecurity and IT. i saw a huge cyber attack on Bluetooth-enabled devices at an event a while back, and it put several people with Bluetooth-enabled insulin pumps in the hospital.

i recently discovered that a good friend of mine has an insulin pump. i am legitimately worried about her safety as a result, and even more so after seeing this.

i also do not like this :D
