just tested now, it works

well then i’d try annas, they have all zlib’s stuff and their download is slightly faster for me

maybe try zlibrary telegram bot

it seems like they’re trying to operate a torrent mirror of huggingface? but then, what’s with that “Claim your handle” message? kinda looks fishy overall…

i think you can use appdoze cracks. they’ve had malware incidents at least once iirc but still considered mostly trustworthy as they got rid of the offending upload and stuff.

what software is this?

“but my enemy runs linux!”

i’m not sure if this would work, but maybe try FSMonitor to see which files are generated at installation?
does restoring to a timemachine backup reset the trial?

i think thats firehawk52. they have their own website now and i haven’t been following lately so not sure if they still share arls/tokens like before

bro wtf are you even talking about…?

it’s happened always, though not sure about its frequency. just filter it on your torrent client

i found this blog post from 2018, might potentially be helpful: https://archive.is/HLCPW
seems like it worked until ~2021 and got blocked, but perhaps there’s a similar method still working…

if its ok could you link that file here? i’ve never seen such example so can’t tell but i doubt they have strong (or any) drm

damn. i need a way to pirate/download HDDs…

i thought nicoblog/cdromance was gone a few years ago. thanks for sharing this

i do, my network sucks so there’s the occasional buffering + streamed videos usually seem to have terrible quality/watermarks etc. also the ability to use custom subtitles (in my native lang and not english) is useful

guess i should say i trust it as much as any other sketchy piracy site. i get what you mean

not sure wdym with “valid source of information” or “trustworthy application” because i said neither in the comment above… in fact i explicitly mentioned “pretty obvious telegram is a honeypot”
soulseek is very easy to use. everyone shares a folder on their computer, and one can query keywords on everyone’s directory listing and download off of them.
install the client nicontine+ (on desktop. if on android, use ‘seeker’. there’s none for ios), choose a nickname, set a shared folder, optionally fill it with some media you already have, and you can start using immediately. i recommend setting the shared folder the same as the soulseek download folder so you get to share what you download.
since soulseek is P2P and requires direct network connection, at least one of two peers need open ports. so if you have open ports you can download from everyone, but with closed ports you can only download from those who have their ports open. so, port forwarding is optional and not strictly necessary.
i haven’t ever heard of receiving letters from ISP because of soulseek, since it’s surprisingly quite under the radar for some reason. ISP letters are usually because of torrents. but still, soulseek protocol is unencrypted so it’s not impossible. because of this i don’t recommend usage on public wifi. use it through a VPN if you can.
