5 months agoD.C. is a federal district. Their National Guard is under the President’s authority, not the Mayor’s. Their Metro Police under emergencies can be federalized under the President’s authority for limited periods.

Its difficult to vote to keep people from voting. When people are allowed to vote Republicans lose elections.
