I for one am perplexed; what is that company actually getting out of these affiliate signups? Even after people start paying, it’s costing them more than they’re making, and when they finally charge maintainable rates, everyone can just stop subscribing and lose nothing of value.

After accounting for increased screening and changes in definition and attribution, there’s a slight rise in autism rates that doesn’t align at all with acetaminophen use.
And where are the J&J studies showing that the supposed link was known to that particular company?
They’d do much better targeting plastic and PFAS manufacturers, as their products are known to cause the cellular mutations that can lead to cancer and autism.
And one of the biggest departments that expanded massively at many companies during the pandemic? HR. So now there’s a LOT of HR and hiring staff being made redundant in the tech industry.

Hasn’t the $50k signing bonus been around since June? The article was released yesterday, but a lot of the stuff it discusses beyond the meeting seems to be older. Maybe they’re talking to pre-2025 ICE staff?
I’ll be interested to see how this works: my “office” is on my home network. We use ZTNA for most internal services. My company already knows where I’m at when I’m using internal services; I guess with this new feature they’ll know if I’m on guest wifi somewhere instead of at home?
