You’re either a propaganda bot or someone facing propaganda toxicity.

Article didn’t bother to show the piece, but from the description it isn’t nearly as interesting as many other Rubens paintings.

The fact that another great artist, William-Adolphe Bouguereau, owned this painting once is a bit of art history nerd knowledge that is fun to learn. Bouguereau’s depiction of the human body and skin tones is, in my opinion, the most talented.

You’re missing the point.

Something or someone who agrees with you, rarely challenges you or disagrees with you….is not something or someone that can help improve the situation and minimize recurrence.

It only feels better momentarily.

Leftist purity culture is why there isn’t a bigger leftist movement. The propaganda told you to shoot yourself in the foot and most have never stopped pulling the trigger.

So they’re copying Dave and Busters by trying to become what they should have stayed to begin with.

But get some cool animatronic shows, .25 cent arcade games from the 80s- 90s, maybe even a few amusement center rides like the old Scandia centers had (go karts, suspended rides, bumper boats, mini golf). THAT would be worthwhile.

I heard it is already happening in CA migrant camps. They’re selling the migrant labor and giving them only 1$ a day. It costs $5 to make one phone call.
