You’re unlikely to be able to carry enough payloads to destroy every camera cluster that witnessed the drone in flight (unless this is a drone swarm), and you need to do this from a distance to be effective. If you’re close enough that it would be easy to destroy the camera, return the drone to sender (without footage of the drone’s return flight), then leave, you’ve effectively just given a localized guess of your identity from the immediate area near the destruction.

The ideal way to do this would be similar to Ukraine’s use of drones vs tanks - payload, far away operator, one device per target.

A drone would work, but you would have to stomach the fact that it would be a one-way trip for each unit, otherwise it would be easily tracked.

Anything that allows distributed hosting without any central accountability will inevitably have right-wing content uploaded - we have this problem in the fediverse as well. I think the best solution is to create an instance within these platforms that can stick within a certain niche to build trustworthyness (ie: an instance solely dedicated to news footage/documentaries).

Think of this like a Wikimedia-esque entity but just for a single peertube/Odyseey group (that would allow distributed cloning ala piratebay/annas archive)

Wouldn’t just a peertube instance dedicated to a particular purpose (say for academic purposes or just for documentary archives) be sufficient, with allowances for the content within to be downloaded/cloned if need be, but the root instance having a dedicated admin(s) with rules on quality control and making sure appropriate content is updated? (Not in terms of political spectrum, but making sure uploaded content is not fabricated and relevant to the instance’s purpose)

There is no perfect candidate. Positive change will be iterative, not transformative. The peaceful transfer of power, deference to experts (republicans terminated the Chevron deference, but it was respected by all Democrat administrations) and other programs targeted to benefit the general public (ACA being the largest victory) were the hallmarks of Democrat policies. Did each of those administrations have flaws? Of course! That’s not equitable to the times we are in, however.

It is a modern phenomenon, but there is no effective way to fully disarm a population without vetting and restricting the imports and purchases within the entire economy (including the internet/communications infrastructure), which I’d imagine the UK doesn’t want to do.

Hey, I fucking hate this just as much as you do. I’ve voted and participated against these policies at every step of the way, but I am not wealthy or politically powerful, I live in a state where my vote is diluted at the national level (California, one of the states with the highest citizen to representative ratios), and when I try to explain these consequences and dangers, all I get in return is apathy.

Unless everyone works together, from content creation all the way down to distribution, some part of the chain will comply with the federal government. They unfortunately don’t need to do anything physical - the show is already dependent on several entities.

Revoke their broadcast license, to make it impossible for them to be on the air with their distributors.

Generally productions are a multi-stage process with several companies involved.
