  • Hard to say. Historically, the American Civil War and the whole thing(s) with the World Wars took at least several years to resolve, in extremely bloody fashion. HOWEVER: Competence isn’t present at all within the Trump Regime. Nazi Germany had veteran soldiers and genuine anger from the mistreatment caused by the Versailles Treaty. The likes of the Trump Regime doesn’t have any legitimate grievances to power a war, and is explicitly removing the best soldiers from their ranks for petty reasons.

The American Civil War, while not a foregone conclusion, had a lot of factors against the Confederacy: A lack of Southern infrastructure and logistics, limited trade partners, VERY angry and rightfully motivated black folks, lack of morality, and so forth. Aside from veteran generals, the Confederacy wasn’t in a good position for victory. The Trump Regime is pretty much stacking almost every factor against itself.

That said, there are many wealthy people who would prefer a Dogey America, so we will probably see Elon funding and building Tesla CyberTanks or V3 Rockets. This is a common thread between the American Civil War and the Trump Regime, in that very wealthy interests have to gain from moral decay and slavery.

I am hopeful for a good outcome, but it will take the bodies and effort of people like myself, and the assistance of friendly nations, to defeat MAGA if we come to blows. If you are a foreigner, please support cooperative aid for the Free States - trade, troops, information, entertainment, moral support, all are good for the cause.

  • It depends on how these things are defined. Say, for example, a 1-foot humanoid roomba minus any utility. When it comes to the market cap, causing hyperinflation of America’s dollar can allow it to become true by the word, if inflation isn’t part of the agreement.

The robo-taxi is probably the toughest part. Maybe a means for the military to ‘taxi’ explosives into civilians at Stephan Miller’s command?

I know. This all sounds stupid. Unfortunately, I have precedent. Gestures at the year 2025.

  • Honestly, the jury selection process is stupid. It depends on people to either live under a rock, or to lie about their character. Our jurors should be informed on the world and have opinions. Fairness achieved through witless conformity is justice by committee.

If we want better trials, getting rid of one-sided testimonials like the grand jury process, would be a much better way. It is weird how prosecutors get to put forward only their viewpoint, while the defense can’t. Randomly splitting the jury in half to listen to the defense and prosecution’s argument, then having each half hear the other side’s story, would be a better approach IMO. That removes the first-mover advantage to story telling. Also, a 20 minute snack and drink break for each session, to remove grouchiness as a factor.

  • The enemies of progress own most of the major US news outlets. I think that is the biggest reason why so many people voted for a dipshit like Cuomo.

A second possibility is name recognition. Now that Zohran gets to run New York for awhile, his name and ideas will spread. That means during the next round of elections, he becomes the defending champ with all the advantages that brings to the table. If he is a good leader, he probably will have a much greater margin of votes than Cuomo ever did.

  • Sounds like that these prisoners would be willing recruits for the Allies against the Neo Confederate Axis. If this is how they are treated in a time of peace, in war, these prisoners would be enslaved and abused by Turdpublican bastards.

If there are Blue State military planners, they should make prisons a priority capture target. Their occupants will support the war effort, be it at home or in the field, wherever these people think is best for their future.

  • I think we should have a reworked economy. Aside from having UBI that grants free utilities, basic shelter, and food, I think that all occupations should have fixed incomes, tied to a rank. East Coast, West Coast, an waiter gets $40k a year. An astronaut, who has the highest ranked job, gets $100k. After taxes, waiters have $30k and the astro a $60k income. CEOs get their rank by votes from workers of their company. By fixing incomes and preventing distortions like billionaires, we can make it easier to diagnose whether a company or person are making too much money. This combined with absolute wealth caps, would make it easier to correct wealth issues.

All waiters know they are supposed to have $30k from their job, thus they can complain about the problem without bullshit excuses from businesses. Plus, free food and shelter guaranteed by government allows for unlimited unionization and job searching, which puts the onus on employers to do better: Without being able to coerce people into working, companies have to do the right thing.

We can have a government-funded department that sets the income ranks of jobs according to the amount of effort, risk, and knowledge a job requires, and makes that the standard that all employees can expect. If a job’s income weirdly deviates from that of other similar jobs, workers of that occupation can unionize to force the government to properly assess the value of the job.

  • I think in their case, a righteous anger against the Versailles Treaty fueled a good deal of the effort that they put into becoming a new empire. The rest of the fuel came from stealing from their Jewish and minority citizens, temporarily boosting their coffers. It couldn’t last, since there was no forethought about where to stop, and they destroyed their best financial gurus out of jealousy and stupidity.

Anyhow, I believe that Dogey America cannot handle a civil war. Unlike the Nazi regime’s luck of a poorly run Weimer, it is the conservatives who mismanaged the economy, and Americans have no one but MAGA to blame for a Greater Depression. That a rat like Yarvin has left the ship is an hopeful sign.
