Food is often sold after it has been cooked and not eaten, it goes to compost and than is sold again as fertilizer or top soil. The thing is we the consumer are paying for the food that is not eaten because it costs money to compost.

I disagree; if buying is not owning, pirating is not stealing.

I love the idea of moving to a more socialist type economy rather than capitalist one.

Yes FOSS is the way Adobe wants you to keep paying subscription.

Your privacy on the internet is only as strong as the weakest part of your setup, the AppleTV would be better privacy focused but do remember you are running Google’s native Youtube app, and there is no way of installing third party things because of their privacy focus.
Before I started my de-apple journey I used my iphone with unwatched and airplayed it to the AppleTV. DO NOT, let me repeat that, do not get an AppleTV if you want to enjoy your media outside of Apple’s walled garden. My current setup has a pi5 attached to my TV using Librewolf and ublock, on top of that I have it on my homelab vLAN which is the most protected vLAN on my LAN! For even further for privacy I have pihole with unbound for my whole LAN. I could go down the rabit hole of my even further privacy, just know I have layers. When I get my hand me down Mac mini I will be installing Debian on it and using it as a better home theatre PC. Just know that if you have a pi5 you can do more than what an AppleTV can do with more privacy, if you have a proper or better than a pi5 dedicated HTPC (running Linux, not Mac OS, or Windows) you can do so much more with privacy being your focus, like stripping your google account away and adding sponserblock.

Try Linux and use FOSS, rather than pirating these things, using the services even pirated software benefits the companies.
Knowing how to use a paid service shows that you are more likely going to use it longer.

Drop Windows all together, I used to be an Apple fan girl so I never really learnt much Windows stuff until highschool and university. I have really realized the planned opsolesence once poop started getting real expensive so I was stretching stuff out as long as possible. Going Linux was the best choice now that crap is so expensive.

I understand they and their colleges know Adobe, but the world needs to go FOSS faster.

I know this goes down a different rabbit hole, and you may end up finding a new hobby in life but have you tried finding open source plugins or whatever? If you do not want to ditch Apple look for open source plug-ins, but my suggestion is ditch Apple and go Linux, it it is an intel Mac most distros will work if it is a Apple Silicon Mac there are less distros but still a few. Make sure there are alternative apps for everything you use prior to the jump though.

This right here!

Use Linux, do not use Microslop. If you are still using Microslop that is your first issue, there are many different flavours of Linux you can use, some that look like Windows if you need it.
Use the *arr set of apps; like radarr, sonarr, prowlarr, etc.

I am sure there was a lot but I doubt that is what he is being sued over.
No it is ethical to just keep the pirated game. If buying is not owning pirating is not stealing, and you should not pretend that it is.
