You are correct, but I think the airports are privately owned though, it’s just they need a lot less to maintain them in relative terms.

You cannot get a grant for a hybrid heat pump system (for example a combination of gas boiler and air source heat pump).
I think it just requires you to have a heat pump for all your water and heating. There appears to be pumps that do both, (mentioned in this article) but that’s more research than I can get away with while ‘working’.

They are trying to push people to heat pumps (basically air conditioners tech wise)
They are also moving towards building/efficiency regs that require completely sealed houses and forced air systems in new builds.
So new houses will effectively be required/encouraged to have an air con capable houses.

Yeh, my understanding is that this was a ruling on the current law, they said that if they rules otherwise, the law would be unworkable I think?
So therefore parliament should legislate properly about it rather than just trying to bend what already existed.

They stop being effective. At 50% if there is another supplier they will be cheaper and get picked. If you set it to 100% or 200% it doesn’t make much of a difference. Trade just stops between the countries unless there is only a single supplier for what you need.

Card companies are bandits nowadays too, so we are forced to add a card processing fee to cover that, as well as a reservation fee to cover the cost of holding your ticket while you go through the purchase process.
We also add mandatory cancellation insurance (through our sister company) to ensure we don’t have to refund you if the gig is cancelled, only 10% of cost, a bargain!
