21·3 days agoConfirming that Trump’s claim the exporting countries were paying the tariffs was complete BS.

News@lemmy.world•Gen Z’s use of AI is plateauing as youth feel less hopeful about the tech
2·10 days agoHe reviews anything the AI flags. As I already mentioned, the AI client is looking for financial risks. ie: a contract committing the company to something it doesn’t have the capability of delivering. I used to do something very similar. One obvious example would be a customer asking for unlimited liability. Company can’t commit to that because it could bankrupt the company.

News@lemmy.world•Gen Z’s use of AI is plateauing as youth feel less hopeful about the tech
2·11 days agoI thought it would be clear because it’s a contract, but we are talking about financial risks, not health risks. He is using a corporate trained AI client. When the AI client finds an issue he (the human) still reviews it. According to my buddy his productivity has improved by over 25%.

4·11 days agoI have a buddy who uses AI to read through contracts to identify high risk commitments that might cost the company money. There are thousands more uses .

News@lemmy.world•Trump administration orders dismantling of the U.S. Forest Service
1·13 days agoIt certainly isn’t clear. I’m not going to accept a story from a source I’ve never heard of without scrutiny.
There’s a part of me that wants it to be true because I truly despise this administration, but it still deserves a critical eye.

News@lemmy.world•Trump administration orders dismantling of the U.S. Forest Service
2·14 days agoConsidering the rhetoric of the story, and the misinformation, I don’t put much stock into it. Yahoo has never been a source of biased information and I have no idea who the other source is, or who their sources are (Facebook?).

News@lemmy.world•Sam Altman’s coworkers say he can barely code and misunderstands basic machine learning concepts
2·15 days agoY Combinator (Sam Altman’s early venture) had a number of what I would consider huge successes. AirBnb, Dropbox, Reddit to name a few. However, when you are talking startups, it’s like penny stocks. Far more failures than successes.

News@lemmy.world•Sam Altman’s coworkers say he can barely code and misunderstands basic machine learning concepts
2·16 days agoWrong word. OpenAI is valued at over $500B. CEO’s of multi billion companies don’t waste their time doing tasks done by $150k/yr positions.

News@lemmy.world•Sam Altman’s coworkers say he can barely code and misunderstands basic machine learning concepts
3·16 days agoThe company is valued at over $500B, with over 4,500 employees. That is not a scrappy tech startup. If the CEO of a company that valuable is coding, he/she don’t have their priorities straight.
Are you suggesting the CBC is running a right wing propaganda piece? That makes no sense.
