I have heard that when people are starving they’re more likely to overthrow their government, but looking at North Korea, I’m not sure how true that is, or how true it is anymore.

I’m sure he thinks it’s a power move. And I’m also sure he feels his ego inflate whenever he calls himself “President”.
Overall, just continuing signs of a very weak person. A strong person doesn’t need validation and constant attention from others.

Whenever I see a person signing their posts, I’m always like, “Somebody let grandpa on the computer again.”

In that email about Trump blowing Bubba, the actual point was to ask whether Putin had the picture.
And it was asked so casually that it seemed like it was the normal course of things to leak incriminating pictures to the Kremlin.

This is the first time I’ve heard of “TrumpRx”, and let me say, goddamn, Trump is one stupid bastard piece of shit. He really called it “TrumpRx” with his own name in it. He obviously doesn’t realize that “Obamacare” is actually the “Affordable Care Act”, and that it was Obama’s political opponents who first called it “Obamacare.”
Trump is a walking fucking joke.

They say it’s a direct conflict of interest for someone in a faith leadership role to also be a leader in immigration enforcement operations.
It’s hard to have a separation of church and state when the church directly works for the state.

Even in the completely off-chance that he wasn’t, we don’t give the death penalty to first-time murderers who committed one murder and no other crimes. No, the death penalty is for fishermen who are suspected of smuggling drugs.

The only reason anybody should listen to a celebrity’s political opinion is if that celebrity has shown some political expertise or astute political insight in the past.
Celebrities are not better than other people. They often have one thing they’re good at, and are ridiculously stupid outside of that area. And often, they don’t even have that one thing they’re good at.

Trump has played his hand so hard that anybody who is capable of thinking for themselves will be voting against Republicans in November. If there can be a “blue wave”, then we have a small amount of hope for avoiding that future without violence. If violence escalates quickly, then that election can even be canceled.
If people still don’t vote against MAGA and GOP in November, then America is doomed with or without violence.
At least, that’s the way I see it. Resistance is important, but violence before this election may be counterproductive. Of course, if you assume, probably correctly, that American citizens will never pull their heads out of their asses, then I guess it doesn’t matter.

Yeah, I said easiest way, but that’s technically easier. I don’t think Trump would do it except possibly if his downfall and complete ruin was inevitable and imminent.

What Trump wants is to stay in power for the rest of his life.
The easiest way for him to do that is to cancel all elections going forward.
The easiest way for him to excuse that is if there is an active armed domestic resistance.
The easiest way for him to have an active armed resistance is if he deploys the military domestically and oppresses the citizens.
The easiest way to deploy the military domestically is through the Insurrection Act.
The easiest way to excuse invoking the Insurrection Act in Blue States is if citizens are killing federal agents in those states.
(We are here today)
The easiest way for him to get citizens to kill federal agents is if they are being oppressed and murdered by those agents.
The easiest way to get agents to oppress and murder people is to deploy them where they’re not welcome and tell them they have free rein.
The easiest way to deploy federal agents where they’re not wanted is to have a huge manhunt.
The easiest people for the federal government to target in a huge manhunt are immigrants, legal and illegal, because the federal government has an immigration police force.

Pretti was a nurse who was murdered. It would be weird if nurses didn’t support him.
Like, it’s ridiculously stupid that people don’t understand that this is one common consequence of murdering someone. That their family, friends, and people who see parts of themselves in that person will all be outraged.
Maybe Libs of TikTok are just used to a world where nobody cares about whether they live or die.

I’m not saying that people shouldn’t do this, but it’s exactly what Trump wants people to do.
He wants everybody to be armed so that the odds of someone killing an ICE agent go up. Trump believes conflict between the government and citizens will allow him to use the Insurrection Act to mobilize the military against us, and then as he continues to escalate violence, he believes that he’ll be justified in canceling our elections moving forward.
People need to keep this in mind as they decide how to act going forward. It is practical to arm yourself, but you should go out of your way to avoid using a weapon.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that people like him are historically supposed to go to Argentina.

The woman reported a prowler and they had already checked the outside of the house. I wonder if they actually needed to go inside the house in the first place.
I wouldn’t voluntarily allow cops into my house unless the situation required them to enter my house.

They don’t need a release date in the first place. They already released some of the files in small batches. And then they completely stopped without any explanation.
So we can see what they do when they are releasing the files. They just release batches as they finish them.
The fact that they aren’t doing that means that they intend to obstruct further progress on the release of the files.

Legal scholars have said the strikes, launched against civilians in boats far from the US, are violations of domestic and international law. The Trump administration maintains they are legal, under a secret opinion written by the justice department that argues the US is in an armed conflict with cartels and that the laws of war apply to the strikes.
War is an armed conflict between the armed forces of states, or between governmental forces and armed groups that are organized under a certain command structure and have the capacity to sustain military operations, or between such organized groups.
Obviously, Wikipedia isn’t the absolute authority on defining what “war” means, but it does a great job at checking your common sense. Like, a war isn’t always between established states, but it’s also distinct from enforcing laws in places where they don’t enforce their own laws or where their own laws don’t suit you.
Even if you assume that everything the Trump administration has said about these people is true, these boats were not carrying out anything like a military operation. Drug running isn’t a military operation. They’re not supplying front lines with drugs for battle.
These people were accused civil offenses, not military operations, and we in the US do not give the death penalty for running drugs.
And of course, the Trump administration lies as naturally as it breathes, so I have no reason to think the men from this article were running drugs in the first place. This is all just showing that even the lies Trump has told are not sufficient to justify the military actions he’s ordered.

Supervillains are in charge of everything, so they’ve made it illegal to be a superhero.

It just goes to show how DC Comics authors needed to read 1984. There is no way that a group of supervillains would call themselves the Legion of Doom.
IRL, the biggest villains label themselves as if they’re good guys. That’s why the name of the Nazi party says they’re socialists. If the Legion of Doom were a real thing, they’d call themselves something like the Board of Peace.
Noem should be forced to wear a bodycam whenever she interacts with politicians.
