The federal government ordered U.S. citizens to shelter in place across five Mexican states Sunday after the Mexican army killed one of the country’s most powerful cartel leaders.

The shelter in place applies to Mexico’s Jalisco, Tamaulipas, Michoacan, Guerrero and Nuevo Leon states, according to the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Mexico. The Mexican army announced Sunday that it had killed Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, known as “El Mencho,” who led the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, which is known for trafficking massive amounts of fentanyl and other drugs into the United States, the Associated Press reported.

The U.S. issued the shelter in place order because of “ongoing security operations and related road blockages and criminal activity,” according to the embassy and consulates. The killing launched hours of roadblocks and burning vehicles across multiple Mexican states — methods that cartels use to interfere with military operations, according to the AP.

Mexico should take a step back and just run shit like America’s police and let them start blasting with immunity for a second against those terrorists.

And what about the local cops who are bought and paid for by the cartels? Who do you think they’ll start blasting as soon as they’re given blanket immunity?

      Are you that stupid?

      You are that stupid

Maybe ask the Philippines how that shit went with Duterte

These strong men wannabees always do fix it. Crime goes down like crazy when you just lock up or kill everyone without rights without lawyers without a process, it’s not that hard.

The problem is the thousands of innocents that you kill / torture / lock up for life, and he’ll, even the criminals who got their rights violated

Violating human rights isn’t just a cute headline, it’s a crime itself and usually it’s amongst the worst crimes possible.

Your suggestion NEVER worked and never solved anything

Crime rates maybe go down because you’re going hyperbolic with the state monopoly on violence but also that kind of authoritarian regime often has control over the data. When you don’t care for process you generally don’t care for integrity.

You can’t execute people on the street. Cops ALREADY have too much freedom to shoot first and then make up excuses later.
Imagine if all they had to say was “I thought it was a cartel member” and can just murder literally anyone.

So you’re idea is to let those terrorist run rampant, kill people, all the while Mexican cops keep getting killed left and right like they normally do. Because that’s better right? This is the real world we need solutions over feelings, bad people go to jail or die if they attack first. Simple, plus don’t let what’s going on in America blind you that this is a different country which doesn’t have the same cop issues.

Not fascist but trigger happy cops, those cartel terrorist are murdering people for the fuck of it. I’d rather have cops start blasting at them than letting innocent people like my extended family die by these evil bastard.

Look jackass this isn’t in AMERICA… it’s in Mexico, do you genuinely think they have the same issues as we do here with cops? America is literally the only nation that loves to kill people for no reason, I’m saying these cops have a proper reason to defend themselves and the community they are there to protect. Mexico and its law enforcement must act now to stop the civilians from being killed.

I understand that it’s Mexico. And my argument is that there should not be any means to defend via Fire Arms or use of force. My argument is that the Police should not be given immunity and free reign to do whatever they like.

It may start with just the Cartels, but the Pigs will move on to political dissidents next

Look, your privileged American self is showing just like the like minded individuals that are agreeing with you. And imma be 100% deadass with you that is stupid af… What do you mean you don’t want people/police to defend themselves against actual terrorists without use of force? Don’t tell me you expect it to be done peacefully as if it where a Disney movie? Real life is brutal just ask the people that had their brains blown out on the pavement if it’s all rainbows and gum drops. But don’t get me wrong the police will lose ALL immunity when this situation is over, because the last thing Mexico needs is an American style police problem. The fact that everything has to spelt out for some people is kinda sad ngl.
