The federal government ordered U.S. citizens to shelter in place across five Mexican states Sunday after the Mexican army killed one of the country’s most powerful cartel leaders.
The shelter in place applies to Mexico’s Jalisco, Tamaulipas, Michoacan, Guerrero and Nuevo Leon states, according to the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Mexico. The Mexican army announced Sunday that it had killed Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, known as “El Mencho,” who led the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, which is known for trafficking massive amounts of fentanyl and other drugs into the United States, the Associated Press reported.
The U.S. issued the shelter in place order because of “ongoing security operations and related road blockages and criminal activity,” according to the embassy and consulates. The killing launched hours of roadblocks and burning vehicles across multiple Mexican states — methods that cartels use to interfere with military operations, according to the AP.
Mexico should take a step back and just run shit like America’s police and let them start blasting with immunity for a second against those terrorists.
And what about the local cops who are bought and paid for by the cartels? Who do you think they’ll start blasting as soon as they’re given blanket immunity?

You can’t execute people on the street. Cops ALREADY have too much freedom to shoot first and then make up excuses later.
Imagine if all they had to say was “I thought it was a cartel member” and can just murder literally anyone.
