In an email obtained by the Chronicle, U.S. Customs and Border Protection asked for use of Fort Snelling to house federal immigration agents, weapons, vehicles and aircraft.
Who is “They”? Every single member of the military? The officers? The base commander? The family members that live on the base?
Problem is, the military as a whole is in support of whatever the administration says. So nobody on the base will have the right or capability of arresting anybody from ICE.
