Peace keepers at slc got the dude with the rifle.

They were put there by protest organizers, so yes they are

They also got an innocent bystander killed, so not great there.

“They weren’t perfect, they should have just let him kill people.”

They also shot only three times as opposed to police who regularly empty magazines. It is tragic, but it was going to be far worse.

You have to think within the context of the conversation being had lmao. The question was “are we really ready?” and our cited security team had an accidental killing.

Like yeah, I’m glad they stopped the shooter. That wasn’t the point.

Yeah, not the best case, but probably the best we could hope for given the alternatives and that they were literally fleeing into the crowd.

Completely agree. Could have been far worse.

I would agree that it certainly wasn’t the worst case scenario.

Yep the violent Nazi started a gun fight that as expected got an innocent killed. While I can’t imagine what their family is going through, thank God that was all that happened. That bystander was a casualty of their war. The peaceful protestors didn’t declare that war.

Wait so they’re looking for someone who hit a demonstrator with an SUV while in other areas cops are hitting people with their SUV or trampling them with horses?

Nice that somewhere there’s decency but where’s the standard for this job?

              Local and inconsistent.

Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
