According to U.S. President Donald Trump, Russia “has been fine on Ukraine” and “hasn’t been doing much” to the country it has been attempting to violently conquer for over a decade.

“Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven’t been doing much,” Trump told reporters on Oct. 19.

The president’s remarks came the same day that a Russian daytime drone strike in a public park killed six people, including two children. The night before, Russia attacked Kyiv with over a dozen ballistic missiles and targeted nearly 30 critical energy facilities across the country.

Actually, it could prove fatal to assume that the Republicans are going to lose the house(s). We should assume that they won’t and do everything so that they actually do.

But I do think that Putin is seeing Trump’s usefulness for him fading, even if we’re just looking at a potential defeat of his party.

Absolutely. Mobilising dem voters is critically important.

However, I don’t think that’s how Putin would see Trump. The whole strategy since forever has just been chaos.

Whatever bullshit they can stir up in the US is good for Putin, it doesn’t really matter what. They’ve been very successful, but it’s by no means over. It’s plausible that the US could have civil unrest, civil war, or a constitutional crisis in the coming months.
