Two people critical in hospital as officials in Bend say 16-year-old suspect shot dead by bystander

A 16-year-old shooter opened fire at an elementary school in Bend, Oregon, on Thursday, killing three children and a teacher before he was shot dead by a community member, authorities said at an evening news conference.

The dead children at Silver Rail elementary school were aged five, eight and 11, officials said.

A seven-year-old and a 54-year-old were also hospitalized with critical injuries, according to police.

Not to be off topic, but we should start seeing a lot of these again nearing the midterms. You’ll hear a lot of lying about doing something about them, and after trump steals the midterms he’ll be clear to remove American gun ownership - can’t have the peons running around armed. Sounds like an insurrection.

The movement to take firearms by the far right has already started. They were very vocal when Pretti was shot that protesters and those on the left should not have firearms.

If we can’t have firearms to stop tyranny then wtf is the point of them.

So 2Aers, while they happily gorge themselves on fascist dick, can shoot the people who actually care about society.

Basically, only the SA and SS get to have guns because they openly love authoritarian regimes despite their hypocritical excuse to “protect from tyranny” or whatever.

This may be hard to believe but there are people on the left who are very happy with 2A, or do you get off over the idea of more fighting between us all?

I get off a little at the idea of all the entitled racist dumbfuck bullies claiming to be patriots someday getting their asses ripped by a completely fed up and optionless mass of formerly decent people, yeah, although the feeling comes with psychological baggage.

Moreso I’m disgusted by the hypocrisy of the aforementioned bullies having the gall to claim patriotic dissent against tyranny when they’re the bootlickingest ones comprising the nationalist cancer at the ground level. Guns are horrid devices and I wish they didn’t exist, but when they’re legal in your society, you better have them anyway. I’ve just given up hope that there’s any chance whatsoever that those supposedly charged with protecting democracy via the 2A will or ever even would have a chance in hell of actually doing it. The federal government in the US has proven on multiple occasions it’s got no problem siccing its troops on its citizens when they stand up against tyranny, and the government will always hold far superior weapons and organized effort. I’m a 2Aer more for personal defense against bad luck encounters than any kind of falsely grandiose greater purpose of reclaiming democracy.

Statistically you’re more likely to shoot yourself or your family than to use your gun in self-defense

You like having a gun because of the feeling of control and power it gives you. The illusion of safety is just your excuse

There is no point of having firearms for that purpose, or does anyone here believe those ammosexual gun nuts would actually prevent a government like the current one?

Trump is a far-right conservative. His base is extremely pro-gun ownership

      Your analysis is incorrect
