In my experience the most batshit crazy people in healthcare are psych workers, nurses and certain types of specialists eg ENT or orthopaedic.
Oh god no. I know many amazing nurses, but there are just as many fucking terrible nurses. The older nurses I’ve worked with are significantly more likely to not give a fuck about their patients or colleagues, and also be extremely judgemental. This is a generalization, but based on my experience.

I was going to say that psych staff at a decent psych hospital are probably some of the best people you’ll ever meet in healthcare
And the more specialized their nursing expertise, the crazier. Wound nurses are insane.

Absolutely untrue. There are many horrid people in the service that should never have been allowed to be a nurse. Same with the military.
