AI may not be around whatever corner you are at but even USA’s Wall Street AI bubble bursting isn’t going to stop the push for AI.

For USA it’s just money. For China they see it as more. Just like solar, batteries, EVs, and androids.

This was somewhat epiphanic for me.

Think of US politics as a business moving large amounts of money around in a capitalist society then things start making sense.

It’s not money. It’s timing. You really want UBI before automation. There’s never been a push for AI and robots like this before.

The weird part is foreign investment kinda ignored all the Chinese real estate investments outside of China done by China nationals.

Bernie Sanders, the “democratic socialist” senator from Vermont, issued a declaration of “solidarity” with workers on his X/Twitter account.

This “support” is the kiss of death. The Democrats joined Republicans in banning a national rail strike in 2022 and helped to promote a sellout national auto contract in 2023 that has led to thousands of layoffs. Their intent is to give the union bureaucracy, whom Biden last year called his “domestic NATO,” time and space to shut down the strike.

The IAM bureaucrats throughout the strike have appealed to Trump to “intervene,” which can only mean calling for the government to shut the strike down. But, dealing with a restive rank and file whose semi-rebellion against the corrupt bureaucrats forced the strike in the first place, they are doing what they can to sabotage this anger, soften workers up on the picket lines and prepare a sellout.

Two weeks ago, the union held a sham “pre-ratification” vote on a deal which did not exist because Boeing had not agreed to it. This is aimed at striking a “militant” posture while shutting down the strike the instant a new deal is reached, on the grounds that workers have “pre-ratified” it. Earlier contract votes were overwhelmingly rejected, forcing the strike to continue.

Look at reporting for any coup that has ever happened.

Take note of how those reports talk about which side has support of the military.

In the last 30 years, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) has documented only one killing committed by an alleged antifa supporter. On August 29, 2020, Michael Reinoehl shot and killed fascist Aaron “Jay” Danielson, a member of Patriot Prayer, during a protest in Portland, Oregon. On social media following the killing, Trump encouraged police forces to kill Reinoehl. “Do your job, and do it fast. Everybody knows who this thug is,” Trump said. Reinoehl was murdered by police and federal agents on September 3, 2020.

While there have been virtually no documented killings committed by alleged antifa members, there have been hundreds of murders and tens of thousands of assaults committed by self-declared fascists, antisemites, far-right militia elements and white supremacists over the last 30 years.
